DOs and DON'Ts: Lessons Learned

DO: Make homemade pizza dough and use it to make pizza on the grill on a Friday night.

DON'T: Expect there to be any leftovers.

DO: Make the most sinful cookies ever, involving these ingredients:

DON'T: Think you will have the willpower to avoid them (feed them to your husband's friends so you don't eat the whole pan!)

DO: Take a picture any and every time you and your husband are both dressed like adults. Must document that for posterity.

DON'T: Think you can go to a winery and have "just one glass" of wine. It will probably be more like 3.

DO: Take advantage of oddly-cool June temperatures and sit outside on Sunday morning after your long run with your breakfast and a magazine that you're not sure why you received in the mail since you didn't subscribe to it

DON'T: Sit by your sister's pool for 40 minutes in the middle of the day with no sunscreen on when you are part vampire, part ghost.

DO: Raid your sister's fridge and take all her produce since she's going on her honeymoon and has no use for it

DON'T: Forget how great your dad is.

**DO: Look up the appropriate way to write "DOs" and "DON'Ts" and be unsatisfied with all the options... that's just one of those weird things in grammar.

Can you post a link to your pizza dough recipe, either on here or fb? I buy whole wheat now but I want to stop buying it altogether if I can!

P.S. The part-vampire, part-ghost line killed me!

Sure! The recipe we've been using is this one: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/amazing-whole-wheat-pizza-crust/ -- it's so easy! I always thought pizza dough would be really hard, so we do pita pizzas and such, but the first time I made this, I realized it's not difficult at all, just time consuming, with letting it rise twice. I always split it into two and make two pizzas - it's plenty thick with that much dough, can't imagine using it to only make one. Let me know how you like it!

Oh my goodness, that pizza on the grill looks uh-maze-ing! I haven't ever attempted to make one on the grill (I think because we don't actually have a grill... Just a really small circular wanna-be grill) but after seeing your picture, I'm tempted to just try it out on our little grill and see if we can make it work!
